A house full of stories, testimonies of time and fables of the world around it. Authors Home Pauri is a traditional colonial Bunglow, restored to its last stone. Located amidst deodar forest in a quaint hill town, the Homestay gives you a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. Aroma of the tall deodar trees and peace of the untouched town adds up to the serene view. Best suited for artists, writers, painters, travellers and the tribe who want to explore their creative energies and get inspired by their surroundings. Come, feel the calmness of the Himalayas in the beautiful home which has been restored to give you very comfortable and natural living in the lap of nature. Beautiful nature trails nearby, sports activities in the town, village experience, cycling etc. are few of the many activities that one could indulge in during the stay. How to Reach Authors Home

By Air

Jolly Grant Airport (DED) at Dehradun is the nearest airport to Authors Home which is approximately 139 kilometres away and just 4.5 hours drive. Popular carriers like Air India, Spice Jet and many others often have daily flights from New Delhi. Once you reach at the airport, you can opt for regular taxi or bus service which is easily available from Rishikesh to Pauri, Authors Home.

By Train

The nearest railhead to Authors Home is Rishikesh which is approximately 123 KM away and 4 hours drive. From their you can book a taxi or you can take bus to Authors Home - Rawat Gaon, Pauri. Due to no train facility from Rishikesh to Pauri, you have to take bus from ISBT Rishikesh. For Pauri, buses depart from there after a fix interval of time.

By Bus

Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh (123km from Authors Home) has a good network of buses connecting it with important places i.e. New Delhi, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh. Buses depart in the morning and late evening from the Kashmere Gate, New Delhi for Rishikesh every day. And then from Rishikesh to Pauri. You can choose from a regular, deluxe or a luxurious coach.
